The Creative Planner is a magazine aimed at planner lovers, bringing inspiration, articles, DIYs and how to’s in magazine form.
Editor in Chief
Hiya! Thanks for being here! I’m Jo-Elle and it’s lovely to have you here in our little community!
Me and the team are ecstatic to have you here with us! The Creative Planner Magazine was the brainchild of myself and Kirsty; both feeling the enormous gap in the market for a magazine that truly represented our beloved hobby. Together, Kirsty and I formed the amazing team you see before you; who all work tirelessly to make this magazine happen once a quarter.
I’ve found my planner peace in a TN. The inserts remain the same every season , WO2P, monthly, goals and trackers everywhere! I am vehemently passionate about organising, so fell naturally into the world of planners which combined my love of pretty things with the practicality of organising a busy life and business. I can’t wait to get to know you better!
General Manager and Coordinator
I’m Kirsty and I live in Gloucester with my husband and 5-year-old son, working part-time in a DIY shop. I have a passion for crafts, the band Hanson, Disney and planning. I generally like to try and dabble in everything. My husband has often joked about my love of Hobby Craft.
My planning style is usually fairly minimalist, so I don’t use very many stickers (if at all) and prefer just a pen, pencil and a ruler. I have pretty much found my planner groove in an A5 that I keep for home and a personal compact for my work shifts.
I do have travellers notebooks and Hobonichi style covers as I have tried out bullet journalling too and use them for various projects. I enjoy playing around on the computer designing inserts and stickers and offer them for free to the community.
Hey, my name is Emma-Louise. I am a mother of 3, book and stationery blogger and aspiring writer.
I have been blogging for around 8 years now however, I changed my career around 3 years ago from Criminology and Law to embrace my passion, Writing.
I love my planners and use them a lot with managing my house, blog, children, and my health. I was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease after horrendous time and multiple operations. I need my planner to be efficient and functional above all else. I currently use a weekly planner similar to the Hobonichi weeks as my main planner.
I am relishing this opportunity to work on the Creative Planner Magazine and flex my writing skills. You can find me over at my blog where I discuss books, writing and all things stationery.
Social Media and Website
I am excited to be joining the team here at The Creative Planner magazine. You will find my either tweaking the website or scheduling social media posts and answering your questions. I am wanting to help this already amazing magazine go even further!
I have a passion for all things planning and having tried nearly every planner going I am a bullet journalist at heart and a white space planner. I love having a routine to my day and working from home I need it.
You can also find me over at my blog, where I love to help people in the planning community. Whether that’s trying to figure out what Hobonichi to choose or spilling the tea on what it means to be a PR Girl. I will always give you an honest answer and as much advice as I can.
Let’s get to it!
